The chemineer® SC-3 impeller is used in deep tanks due to an advanced engineering design. It is able to produce flow characteristics that is present in much larger impellers, without having that extra weight or loss in the efficiency of pumping. The SC-3 impeller has a reduced weight and this allows for the use of longer shaft extensions. This in turn will help overcome associated speed limitations. An SC-3 impeller can save 33 percent agitator cost.
