The Timken spherical roller bearing (SRB) solid-block housed units have been designed specifically to deal with the most challenging circumstances. Constructed from Timken's high-performance SRBs and cast-steel housings, these are the only units of their type to provide steel solid-block housing as standard.

Without any reduction in life expectancy, the Timken solid-block housed units can run efficiently on misaligned shafts up to ±1.5 degrees. The right Timken solid-block housed unit needed to replace existing competitive housed units can easily be found with the interactive interchange. These solid-block housed units have a complete line of precision-made locking housings and styles which provide protection against contaminants. This is particularly the case when used with the numerous primary and secondary seal options. Another layer of protection against harsh conditions can be provided by the steel auxiliary covers.
