Stainless steel pillow block

Boca Bearings presents stainless steel mini pillow block mounted unit bearings with set screw (SKP). Their housing and inserts are made of stainless steel. Pillow blocks have a bearing attached into a enclosure. These blocks are usable when the bearing mounting surface and the shaft axis are parallel to each other. The housing is connected to a foundation via base holes.

A set screw is a kind of screw, which is typically used for fastening a bearing race to a shaft. Typically, set screws are headless or blind. This means that the screw is completely threaded and does not have a head projecting beyond the screw thread's major diameter. Compressional or clamping force is exerted by the screw via the bottom tip that projects through the hole.
