Star PolyPresses from Hilliard is designed to handle high-quality polypropylene plates against the corrosive chemicals. The residual fluid is removed by the air that is blown down, while the pressure of the machine parts are enclosed to secure it from bad situations. The machine is particularly designed for efficient dewatering of both waste water sludge and process slurries, with higher differential pressures. It concentrates the solids and compress them into compact cakes for easy, low-cost disposal in the case of wastewater sludges. The device is a heavy-duty fabricated steel stand which is easy and safe to operate and made from stainless steel. It is easy to maintain, safe and has a simple design that typically produces a clean liquid filtrate.
