The designed air blower delivers air to the aeration system. Generally positive displacement blowers that deliver constant airflow at variable water depths are typically used to ensure operational simplicity. The blowers in combination with VFDs and DO control system, delivers optimal energy efficiency. For larger systems, the integration of centrifugal blowers with DO control system and modulating inlet valve or VFDs significantly saves energy. The blowers come in a wide range of duty-standby configurations to match a wide range of operating conditions, ranging from low-load startup configuration to full build-out capacity.
