The PI-485 HART Controller is designed to convert HART digital sounds into serial data according to RS-485 MODBUS Protocol. This intelligent micro-compressor has four galvanically isolated digital input ports as well as two isolated RS-485 MOBUS ports, thus making it suitable in essential applications. It works with every compatible HART device or sensor.

Windows-based software is featured for easy programming. According to the OEx-ia-IIC-T5 version PI-485-Ex, this controller is intrinsically safe. The data buffering received from the interface devices allows for fast processing through the primary and backup RS-485 interface ports. Mounting is a simple process and can be done on 35mm universal DIN-rails. An external weatherproof enclosure is available for the PI-485.
