Rubber cable grommet

These rubber wire leads and rubber grommets from Barbieri Rubber are designed and manufactured in symmetrical or WS designs. This ensures their suitability for use in any hole intended for the passage of an electrical wire without directly touching the wall.

Grommets with special insulation and dielectric characteristics are made by substituting the carbon black with silica or another insulating material. If they are sized and constructed correctly, the grommets can make any container used for outgoing pipes or cables waterproof, even in underwater applications. The material normally used combines a mix of chemicals which possesses elasticity and high resistance to mechanical or chemical corrosion. This keeps the seal and protection intact in the harshest surroundings, even in direct sunlight.
