VEL type filters are the ideal devices to use with smaller systems that require easy but regular cleaning to ensure proper productivity. Dirt that accumulates within the cartridge can be removed by opening the cartridge found at the bottom of the filter.

The filter bowl should be removed only when bigger particles of dirt need to be removed, while a manometer located on the filter head displays the outlet pressure causing a drop of pressure in the filter. VEL type filter cartridges can be bought with a 150 mesh met mounted to the device.
