The PV 1000 provides grinding precision valve balls that can be made from steel, or coated in ceramics. The unit is designed with Saporiti's customized software, for the smooth centering of the tool. The machine is ialso ntegrated with water cooled pads, and a cooling system to maintain the workpiece temperature.

The equipment utilizes roller slides, placed on all axes, for the long service life. The unit is incorporated with a grinding wheel, that is suitable to cover a wide range of diameters. This apparatus is efficient to use, with balls with metal to metal seal, and coated satellite work balls. It is capable of machining balls up to 1,100 mm in diameter. It can also be utilized in balls with 10 in up to 30 in.
