The model Ti has a working range of 12.7 to 50.8 mm (1/2" to 2-1/2") tubes. The Ti is the only portable tube cutting and beveling tool with a high strength titanium gear housing. The robust gear sets in the strong Titanium housing are powered by a rugged, reliable .66kW (.9 hp) pneumatic motor. Together they provide the optimum combination of speed and power for medium to heavy wall, smaller diameter pipes. It features a narrow head design for easy use in tight working spaces and in between tubes. A narrow 40.6 mm (1.6") diameter tool holder is available for use with 12.7 mm and 15.9 mm center shafts for minimum clearance situations. There is also a 50.8 mm and 63.5 mm (2" and 2-1/2") diameter tool holder offered to match the working clearance with the diameter of the work to be machined. The I.D. locking system centers the tool and removes torque from the operator. This makes the placement of accurate O.D. bevels, squaring and other pipe end machining applications both safe and easy. The model Ti uses standard H&S cutting blades. The blades are made of high quality tool steel that can be re-sharpened many times to reduce your tooling costs.
The Ti is powerful enough to use our patented Multi-Prep® cutter. Multi-Prep® has replaceable carbide inserts to clean the pipe O.D., removed waterwall membrane and place a standard 37-1/2 degree O.D. bevel in a single operation. The savings in time is extraordinary.
The internal locking system has three wedge segments. Locking and feed wrenches are located at the back of the tool to decrease the amount of open space necessary to operate the tool.
