The Neptune 800 series is manufactured by Nira, and is a rapid headspace gas chromatograph that is ideal for use analyzing printed versatile objects in the tobacco, pharmaceutical, and food packaging industries. It has the capacity to scan printed versatile objects in 7 minutes, and scan either coated or laminated printed versatile objects in 12 minutes. The unit has the capacity to scan the purity of the solvents and the solvent quality inside inks. it also has the capacity scan adhesives and solvents.

The Neptune 800 series is available in Table Top and Process models. The table top features a headspace, a GC, and an embedded windows PC. The Process model features a headspace, a GC, an embedded windows PC, and an air treatment system.
