Educational FID GC System is extensively designed for general VOC analysis ideal for undergraduate chemistry classes or graduate level research due to its low price factor and easy upgrade capability via multiple selectors and injectors available as per requirement. It contains a built-in air compressor and an on-column injector ideal for 1/8" packed and 0.53mm wide-bore capillary columns, making it suitable for analysis of methane to heavy, high-boiling hydrocarbons (C44+). Accepting column cage diameters up to four inches it is programmable to 400oC, and recycles quickly via a high speed cool-down fans. Flame Ionization Detector (FID) having a high temperature range can be interfaced with add-on detectors for selective-species measurements. The primary applications being solvent and material characterization, environmental samples, TPH and petroleum analyses. Equipped with a Single Channel Peak Simple Data System on the ultra compact 310 chassis, it will wind most columns to fit the 4" column oven.
