The industrial device is composed of burnished steel body. The anodized, high-strength aluminium collet of 99 mm diameter is supplied as standard. The mechanism in the main body is protected against dirt and coolant. The flanged base is used for fastening to the machine table. The underside of the unit is provided with holder for the AMF K20 Zero Point system and the grooves are used for positioning on AMF Zero Point clamping modules with indexing.

The device is used for clamping complex work-piece contours for 5-sided machining in the machine tool. The collet is machined as per the contours of the work-piece, with a minimum 2 mm location depth. The component is evenly applied clamping force in a radial direction to ensure the clamping of the work-piece without distortion. The clamping force can be adjusted via the clamping screw, using a torque wrench.
