Force Sensors are force measuring and control devices advantageous to electro-mechanical actuators and could be thoroughly exploited while pressing parts of in-the-loop test stands in material testing devices. It helps the actuators in the exceptionally fine force control with defined force relief and ultra-precise load switch-off. The safety of this process is increased and the quality is automatically assessed by the measurement of the acting force along with mounting and joining operations which is met by direct force measurement in the push and pull unit of the RACO electric actuators. The load cell is installed between the clevis and the push-pull rod or integrated within the bearing case depending on its design and the force sensors are adapted to the given electric actuator and the force measuring range which also ensures high level of safety from overloading.
