PXI Express is a modular test and measurement platform based on the PCIe electrical bus. It leverages the compact and rugged mechanical packaging of CompactPCI and adds advanced timing and synchronization features necessary for precision instrumentation.

PXI Express is the fastest instrumentation platform currently available with unmatched bandwidths in excess of 1 GB/s and latencies less than 1 µs.
