Rack-mount platform chassis

The RMC-3101 is a 9-slot 3U Chassis designed for use with the entire range of FOI series. It comes with nine slots to be used with either a telephone disconnect unit or any fiber optic isolator. There is a tenth slot created for a PSM-3010 power supply module. One PSM-3010 is shipped with every single RMC-3101 chassis. As per user requirements, one of the nine slots can also be used for a second PSM-3010, leaving eight slots for the fiber optic isolator. The second PSM-3010 can take over if the first one fails. The second one automatically carries the entire load and continues working normally. Below the module bay, there is a cable bay with two exhaust fans at the rear and a vented front panel, designed for better air flow.

A chassis mount adapter is needed to slide the fiber optic isolators into their slots and perfectly align them. There is also the RMC-3102 Chassis which is similar in operation to the RMC 3101, but it has a mounted optical patch bay at the rear.
