To make a promt connections on the plant floor, the DC Micro (M12) IDC field-attachable connectors are used with raw cable. With the use of Insulation Displacement Connections, the installation involves virtually no tools and recognized by inserting unstripped conductors into the connector body and twisting the connector ends together. The outcome is a robust, gas-tight electrical connection in a rugged IP67-rated housing. These connectors are in straight and right angle versions of male and female with 3- or 4-pin configurations for prime application flexibility.
