This series of lathe machines is multi-functional and combines the features of a high-precision manual lathe with a digital readout, jog and powerfeed modes, and a teaching mode for CNC turning. These machines are capable of a full CNC operation. Both complex and simple components can be turned more efficiently by using one or more of these modes. Every model comes equipped with a servo or frequency drive, thus allowing infinite variability with spindle speeds and the feed rate. The spindle speeds will also automatically adjust to different diameters and maintain constant surface speed. Spherical and radial surfaces can be turned smoothly without the use of any attachment or special tool. With the use of canned cycles, tool-path programming is eliminated due to automatic tool compensation.
