The 33A Series Permanent Magnet DC Motor from Bodine Electric Company is characterized by an adjustable speed and a high starting torque. This 33A motor is encased in a non-vented enclosure graded with an IP 40 protection rating. The unit is designed with a Class F insulation with a Class B rating. This device is also fitted with a set of pre-seated graphite or copper-graphite brushes that optimize productivity without the unnecessary high noise levels. The oversized magnets work against demagnetization, and are stabilized to common strength. This is ideally for steady and constant operations. In addition to that, it is equipped with a skewed armature that is designed to provide operators with smooth operations that run at low speeds.
