In-line density meter

The LB 379 Inline Density Meter combines radioactive source and detector in single unit. Product advantage is extremely low dose rate, leading to licence-free operation in several countries. Due to low radiation energy, Am-241 source is used, whose energy is similar to x-rays and its half-life time is several hundred years. It provides high statistical accuracy and long-term stability by using highly senstitive scintillation detectors with patented drift compensation. It is flanged to the pipeline. It is made from stainless steel and is available with Teflon lining for wear resistant operation for products with high viscosity and high solids content.
