You need to know the density of the artifact in order to be able to reduce the physical influence of air buoyancy effects, mass, pressure and force metrology. The new OIML R111-1 lays down the density measurement for mass of E class weights for above 330 m and F1 class used at 800 m above sea level.


The VMS solutions uses the built in comparator for mass and density determination. It offers an easy-to-use installation with guided measurement process causing detailed reports of uncertainties.

The density is determined quickly and accurately with the help of it design and measurements methods are applied as per OIML R111 Hydrostatic comparison A1 & A3.
