The SG-100M Electronic Hydrometer / Liquid Density Monitor is a specific gravity meter designed to measure the density of the liquid. It can be used as a replacement of ordinary glass bulb and optical refractometer hydrometer that offers limited range, utility and functionality. The component of SG-100M includes an in-tank, drop-hang submersible probe to monitor, measure, record and control the gravity and density of the liquid during unification, fermentation, mixing, sanitization and plating operation. User can easily customize the SG-100M because different options are available that help the instrument to exactly fit your measuring needs.
You can separately purchase the measurement probe for the integration into an existing Programmable Logger Controller (PLC). It offers 4-20mA analog output board or dual 5 amp relays to control the whole process. Cabling is based on the Teflon or PVC to measure the sample. The SG-100M is user friendly and equipped with versatile features. You can simply submerge the measuring probe up to 500 feet and connect it to an electronic module to provide digital readouts of user defined values, including Density, Specific Gravity, Baume, Brix, and Alcohol %. Pressure is irrelevant for the SG-100M, it can measure in any depth or density of liquids or slurries. The measurement probe is chemically resistant with PVD/Teflon wire strain relief and 315 stainless steel springs.
