This is one of the latest broadband protection devices provided by Littelfuse, offering overvoltage protection for various applications such as 10.100.1000 BaseT Ethernet, along with T3/E3 DS3 interfaces, VDSL2+ and ADSL2+. The new type of protection features a unique combination of the TVS diode element with a diode rectifier bridge, providing longitudinal and differential protection in a single package. The design innovation will always result in a capacitive loading characteristic, log-linear with respect to the signal voltage across the device.

This item also reduces inter-modulation distortion, caused by a typical solid-state protection solution. As for the features, the product is RoHS compliant and comes with a low insertion loss. The combined longitudinal and metallic protection and clamping speed of nanoseconds are other important advantages. The pending UL recognized component and the low clamping voltage are also worth mentioning.
