Extensometer / strain gauge

The Model 3542L is a long gauge length extensometer engineered by Epsilon. It is suitable for applications requiring low level strain measurements.

The extensometer features a rugged construction, and resistance to vibrations due to its dual flexure design. It is used to test different type of materials, such as metals, plastics, composites and ceramics. The unit ensures easy mounting on the test specimen through Epsilon’s quick attach kit. The kit may also be removed to allow mounting with springs or rubber bands. The 3542L serves as a strain gaged instrument that can be used with any electronics designed for strain gaged trasnducers.
