Gard'Active Fence is generally installed as an interior lining on an existing fence or perimeter system. Continuous surveillance is provided by a low voltage current in the wires (approximately 30 V) that is undetectable when touched. Zone detection is effective in the event of:
. Power outage
. A short circuit caused by contact between any one of the wires and any medium or conductor at a different potential.

Generation of a calibrated current in the wires by a high-voltage pulse train causing a rapid, non-lethal but particularly deterrent shock when touched. One or more DP23* power and detection units supply and control the entire system.

* The DP23 electric fence unit is approved by APAVE under no. 9665400.
