The Safeye Series 700S is manufactured by Spectrex, and is an open path gas detector that is integrated with superior Xenon Flash Technology. It has heated optics to withstand harsh environment conditions which includes icing, snow, and condensation.

The unit can detect wide range of gases with a fast response rate. It is also economical due to one system that can replace from 5 ot 20 point gas detectors. It has a large misalignment tolerance of ±1° with no positioning effect.

There is a rugged housing design that is made up of stainless steel with an IP66 or IP67 class of protection. The SIL2 complies with the standards of IEC61508. The unit also utilizes HART protocol for maintenance and asset management.
