The TMG series is manufactured by Kw Tecmen, and is a steel disc-pack coupling with modular design in 14 sizes with diameters from 40 mm to 345 mm. It has a torque rating of 160 Nm to 100,000 Nm with speed rating of 30,000 to 2,000 min?1. It also has a stiffness of approximately 150 to 300 that is mainly determined by the spacer.

The unit has an allowable environment temperature of 40°C to +280°C, which the hub or flange is made up of steel. There are banks of springs made out of cold-rolled stainless steel. The unit can be utilized in wide variety of applications including in turbo-compressors, turbines, printing presses, generators, pumps, etc.
