Water-cooled aftercooler / air-cooled

The HD 4-96 / TD 8-650: Water- and air-cooled after-coolers from Atlas Copco are equipped with fin-fited cooling tubes that have enhanced heat transferring capabilities because of its larger surface area. Using only minimal water, these units cool the air by letting it go through a series of stainless steel tubes that release cool and compressed air to in the end. The water that the cooler uses also deflect battles for better cooling. It is also designed with a water separator and a thermometer.
