The water or air cooled after-coolers from ATLAS COPCO provide dependable operations with minimum maintenance and maximum water protection in your system. Air is sent to the air-net by both types at temperatures that are ideal for most air dryers. The ones that are water cooled employ stainless steel tubes to cool the air, and the cooling water and compressed air going in opposite directions. The cooling tubes are wound inside to facilitate the creation of turbulence to expedite the cooling process. Those that are air cooled employ an aluminum block cooling element and an electric fan facilitates the cooling process by pushing the air between the fins.
