KOMAX SYSTEMS? MODEL GGM: Komax gas-gas mixers are based on a simple but sophisticated design concept. Patented low pressure drop static mixer provides the highest degree of gas-gas mixing?No other static mixer/contactor/reactor technology approaches the patented Hi-Pass static mixer gas mixing effectiveness.

The secondary gas stream is introduced into the primary gas stream through a flanged side mounted injector located directly in front of the static mixing elements. The method ensures the uniform introduction of the gas streams. The two gas streams are instantly and thoroughly mixed by the Komax patented Hi-Pass mixing elements.

Duke University Engineering Department tested the Komax Hi-Pass static mixer against seven competitive static mixers for gas/gas mixing. The Komax Hi-Pass static mixer came out number one on mixing while having the lowest pressure drop.

Komax has sold Hi Pass gas-gas pipeline mixers up to 72 inches in diameter to the major oil pipeline companies. The Hi-Pass static mixer design is also been used in very large square and rectangular ducts for high temperature gas mixing.
