Surface plate

The Natural Granite Control Surface Plate by the Hoffmann Group is specifically designed to promote and provide a good quality performance for any related applications. The surface plate is incorporated with a natural granite material which has a flaw-proof functionality and a low heat conductivity. Due to its high quality stainless material, it offers a rustproof type of device to prevent it from several elements that may harm the device. It is also resistant to deflection and torsion. It has a micro-fine surface treatment with resistance higher than the limits recommended. It has a harder form of steel compared to the one which is hardened enough with a Mohs hardness scale of 6-7 and is non-magnetic and electrically non-conductive. It is also incorporated with a certificate, ball inserts and trasport packing. For static determination of position, contact points (steel ball inserts) are fitted to the underside. It is also supplied including a rubber feet. Stainless steel screw inserts, steel T-slot rails can also be delivered upon request.
