The FH-3-0 model from the FH3 range of hardness testers is designed to deliver the highest performances attainable in hardness testing. The instrument provides superlative services in testing the hardness of materials according to the Rockwell, HBT, HVT, Superficial Rockwell and Ball indentations.

The machine uses loads of 187 kgf or 400 lbf to achieve outstanding precision in measurements. Its exactitude and reliability make it perfect for use in installations that require high performing machines in order to achieve certification in international standards for the manufacturing of hardness testing blocks, damage research or other relevant procedures.

The full-featured instrument is equipped with an ultra-high tech, sophisticated system controller that facilitates fully automatic or manual measuring operations across all scales. It provides other exceptional services such as setting up of test programs, storing the resultant values, video imaging with storing of images and generating report printouts on demand.

The software support provides conversion of three diverse hardness and tensile-strength scales, all at the same time. The conversions can be specifically set as per the material being tested and to the desired standards i.e ISO or ASTM. The controller also guides an optionally available X-Y platform, rotating or inclining platform which is connected to the integrated system driver. The instrument is completely self-contained, with no requirement of external devices.
