This item is suitable for use with applications that can reach a maximum working temperature that does not exceed 120 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the manufacturer can also supply cable heating elements, which are available in several diameters, being insulated with the use of silicone rubber. Note that insulation can be double or single, while the power input can be delivered from one side only.

The elements in this series also comprise of a resistive wire wound, placed around a silicone coated fiberglass core. If necessary, this core can be protected using a metal braid, which can also serve for earthing. Alternatively, this can be done in the form of a sheath. This sheath may be in the form of fiberglass, aluminum or tinned copper, in accordance to the dimensions of the cable.
