Press featuring vertical three-column hydraulic clamping with a 500-ton clamping force. Directly derived from Oima's super-reliable double-piston design, the injector is offered in Euromap size 5400, with 95, 100 and 110 mm screw diameters. The extraction system, known as the 'form rotator' (giraforme), is attached on the column on the side opposite the injector. This rotates the mould cores (the so-called 'forms) while simultaneously inserting a second form set into the mould, thus allowing moulded pieces to be extracted as the next pair is injected. The user-friendly ECO NT computerised controller offers a comprehensive range of functions and allows users to manage even the most complex moulds: and because it is housed on a wheeled cupport it can be ergonomically positioned as desired by the customer. LOTUS presses can be supplied in the '2-colour island' configuration: consisting of 2 presses and two handling units , this provides complete automation of multi-colour shell and cuff production plus insert management.
