Simatherm IH 025 VOLCANO, successfully launched in June 2011 marks the start of a new era in the field of portable induction heaters. It is a patented technology which enables outstanding heating performance and can be used to heat roller bearings with internal diameters of over 20 mm, external diameters starting at 160 mm and weights up to 10 kg(22lb).It features an extremely light structure weighing just 3.5 kg(7.7 lb), has an integrated time and temperature regulation and a predictive temperature control (PTC) option. It operates in a high-frequency range and can reach maximum heating temperature of up to 180°C(356°F) which makes it highly efficient.
