For optimum performance on today?s high speed machining centers, balanced toolholders are recommended by most machine tool spindle manufacturers. All Centaur Toolholders are balanced for 16,000 R.P.M., with AT3 or better accuracy on the taper fit and finish ? one third of the ANSI specification requirement, and concentric to .0002 TIR or better. All Centaur Toolholders have fully ground flanges and V-grooves to ensure smooth, accurate handling in automatic tool changers and reduced vibration at high R.P.M.
