Permanent lifting magnet / manual

The Ultralift Plus series is a permanent lifting magnet engineered by Eclipse Magnetics. It is equipped with a patented 'Safety Shim' for pre-testing any load. The device is activated with the 'Safety Shim' on top, and can be used to lift the load a short distance. A 3:1 safety factor is guaranteed even without the shim. Pre-testing any load is useful for lifting loads with different sizes, materials, and surface finishes.

A safety catch holds the operating handle, while the Ultralift Plus operates. It is released by pressing a button on the end of the operating handle. The safety catch, and a patented lifting eye mechanism avoids accidental switching while the device holds a load.
