The Ultrapen PT1 is an extremely accurate water tester. This instrument from Myron L is both advanced with respect to its technology and convenient to use. Comparable to benchtop equipment in reliability and precision, it is as simple, compact and portable to use as a pen. It can be easily applied for the three most common water quality tests, namely, conductivity, TDS or salinity, along with the temperature. The advanced features it possesses include the ability to select from 3 different commonly used standard solutions, namely, KCI, NaCl and Myron L?s own standard for natural water.
The accuracy of the device is +-1% of reading and +-2% at calibration point. It provides repeatable and reliable results. It provides automatic temperature compensation with auto-ranging. It is resistant to shock, incorporated electronics and is made out of aircraft-grade aluminum. It is completely waterproof and has a high capacity N-type battery.
This tool has found wide use in areas like desalinization, agriculture, hydroponics, aquaculture, boilers and cooling towers, pharmaceutical industry, horticulture, wastewater management, pool and spa industry, irrigation, food and beverage industry, reverse osmosis and many other applications.
