Centrifugal filter / coolant

Automatic filtration devices are designed for the automatic cleaning of cooling lubricants. They are used in:
Honing, grinding, turning and milling machines
Machining centres
Tempering plants
Washing plants etc.

Functional characteristics:
The soiled cooling lubricant is conveyed through an admission distributor onto a non-woven filter web positioned in a recess. Centrifugal force draws the coolant through the filter web into the liquid tank positioned below the band filter. The dirt particles present in the cooling lubricant are filtered out by the filter web, creating the build-up of a sludge cake. This reduces the permeability of the non-woven filter web and so causes the liquid level to rise above the filter recess. As the liquid rises, an adjustable float switch actuates further transport of the filter web powered by an electric motor. This system allows the clogged filter web to be automatically discharged depending on the volume and impermeability of the sludge build-up.
