The D4 is part of the Value Range of Manesty tablet presses and offers reliability, ease of operation, and robustness in manufacturing a wide range of tablets at an affordable price. With no electronics, hydraulics or pneumatics, this simple, mechanically operated tablet press is easy to install, operate and maintain. The well proven concept of the D4 allows customers to manufacture a wide variety of tablet shapes and sizes up to 25.4mm diameter with a maximum compaction force of up to 100kN. Ideally suited for the manufacture of more difficult and specialist products such as effervescent (dissolvable in water), multi-vitamin tablets and salt tablets, the dependable nature of the D4 has meant extensive sales throughout the world.

The low cost of the D4 does not stop it being packed with standard features and options which are required for modern day tablet production. For example, depending on the output required a mechanical (open) feeder or a variable speed rotary feeder can be provided. Easy access to all areas of the machine and stainless steel wipe clean surfaces ensure cleaning and changeover can be thorough and fast.

The D4 has two turret options providing flexibility in output.
