Face milling cutter / tangential / insert / tungsten carbide

The HeliCut cutterhead from Leitz GmbH is designed for higher cutting quality and efficiency. The cutterhead is made with an aluminum tool body which has a high balance quality.

Efficiency is achieved by a four performance time with reversible tungsten carbide knives. It features tear-free cutting with and against the feed due to the tungsten carbide knives which are built into the design. This method is also employed when cutting along and across the grain. Quality results are also achieved when length processing is being performed with the knives. The working procedure of the cutterhead includes enhanced tenoning joints which help in ensuring the quality of the production output.

The model is made to ensure furniture quality in timber construction.
