The SCR safety relays reliably evaluate signals including those created by Bernstein's safety switches, position switches, safety rope pull switches, safety latching devices, 2-hand controllers and safety sensors. They have a standard mounting rail enclosure which is compact in size. The SCR relays can impress numerous applications to performance level in line with EN 13849 standards. In compliance with this, the SCR relays monitor the reliable operation and correct position of safety sensors and contacts in safety switches.

This evaluation function is designed to stop machines in emergency cases. It does this by actuating the power elements, such as frequency converters and power contactors. For safety gate monitors, two positive opening normally-closed contacts are required, which are standard in almost every Bernstein switch.
