The XAS 27 is a new device. It is powered by a reliable and tough Honda engine, exceeding existing emissions regulations. It features a V-Belt drive which has a belt tensioning rail system. The Honda engine powers Atlas Copco's new C55 element. The XAS 27 is also the very first compressor in the whole Atlas Copco Portable Air range to have a petrol (gasoline) engine.

This one-tool compressor is able to deal with projects such as finishing, renovation and demolition. This is regardless of whether the XAS 27 is being used for running pneumatic breakers, hammers, chippers or small hand tools.
