Linear stage / translation / micrometer-driven

The 7T173-20-50 is a linear stage from Altechna. Manual linear motion is allowed in the unit. The distinguishing feature of this linear stage is its tight and low-profile construction.

The Altechna's 9S75M regular micrometers are utilized as driving screws. The user can specify other screws with a non-matching travel range to save space.

A Platform is spring preloaded against the driving screw to offer optimum resolution of the linear stage, low backlash, smooth and precise linear motion. An array of mounting holes on a platform and on a base permit various convenient mounting choices, as well as mounting on Altechna Posts.

The linear stages can immediately stack in compact XY or XYZ configurations. They also provide linear stages of the same design, with a stepper motor.
