The RocketModem IV uPCI 8-port product is a PCI multi-modem card manufactured in compliance with the PCI 2.1 standards and supports installation in 3.3V supported bus architectures. It features an on-board 36MHz RISC processor that decreases "host" CPU utilization. It is also supported by V.92 and K56flex which enables communication with any modems available in the market.

It offers Class 1 and Class 1.0 FAX support with its speeds of 56 Kbps for data and 14.4 for FAX. It also features I/O mapping capabilities which makes installation easier, removes memory errors and allows plug and play function. This card is equipped with an integrated multi-modem card solution which removes the cabling connections and segregate power supplies related to the external modems. It has also an individual modern reset which decreases disruptions to the connections and ehances the performance of the server.
