Fiber optic modem card / for industry

Control Signal and Relay Contacts (FOM) series FOM-9010, FOM-9011 and FOM-9012 is a fiber optic isolator and a modem card for uni-directional transport of the low-level control and contact status signals. Front panel indicators are available to display the status of all signals in addition to power supply and optical connection status of each card. The FOM-9010 is used with the combination of contact closure sense and voltage inputs.
The unit in the voltage input mode can accept polarity sensitive TIA-232, TTL, or TIA-422 state indications and AC or DC voltages sensing for simple presence. There are 12 input channels that can be easily configured on an individual basis. If the unit starts accepting certain electrical data standards, the unit will not be suitable for the data use. The unit activity is displayed as an AC voltage and it will be identified as the FOM-9011 supports Form A or Form B solid state contacts on the output channels. You can individually configure all 12 channels and the Form B contacts remain shorted even with the FOM powered off.
