Link Instruments' UMVV01 model is an Ultra Measure ultrasonic thickness gauge. The device is robust and easy to use, due to the variable velocity calibration that can be set to suit the requirements of specific applications. The unit is fitted with an LCD display backlight for use in environments with bad lighting conditions. This equipment can measure thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 199.9 mm, and has a resolution of .01 mm.

It consists of a complete kit that includes operating manual, rubber boot, couplant, batteries and instrument carry case. In addition, the tool provides an IP65 of protection class in plastic casing and industrial keypad. The UMVV01 also offers a 5Mhz transducer with a split crystal protection to prevent any contamination.
