The ribbon mixers made by Gimat, are considered as ribbon blenders or powder mixers, which in general are made of painted carbon steel or stainless steel AISI 304 or 316 with surface treatments that makes the machines ideal for this application. The sheet metal used has a thickness that can withstand the stresses of the power mixing process, that occurs quickly and homogenously, thanks to the unique four-way ribbon and cross-flows.

The available volume for batch type mixers range from 190 - 340 - 550 - 980 - 1400 - 2000 - 3500 usable liters with power ratings that may change depending on the application from 2.2 kW to 22 kW. There are different sizes and capacities that can be used be evaluated or suppled for vertical mixers and ploughshare mixers.
