Operating principle
Discontinuous ribbon mixers consist of a rotor shaft with opposing coils housed in a mixing chamber. The outer coil transfers the material from the two sides toward the centre, while the inner coil moves the material to the sides, producing a sort of convective mixing. The product is stirred gently in relatively short mixing times.

Available accessories include: heating / cooling jacket, liquid injection system; grain samplers.
