The E 90 R Series of Power-Off Spring-Applied Motor Brake, manufactured by Dunkermotoren GmbH, is specifically designed as brushless DC motor in the BG range can be suited with rotor brakes. This device can generate without voltage is used and releases when current flows. It is also provided with power-on brakes to operate more efficiently.

Moreover, it is mainly used to protect the DC contacts in the control system against arcing with the used of a freewheeling diode. Also, the available IP54 covers are designed for all brakes.
